Police blotter: Tools of the trade found in stopped car
Caught before the crime
Dec. 22 – After pulling over a vehicle with no license plate, an officer observed at the foot of the passenger seat there was a mask, bear spray, a drill, and gloves. The officer suspected this would be used for vehicle prowls.
The stop occurred at 4:48 a.m. in the area of 108th Street and Sehmel Drive. Due to the time of night and location of recent burglaries, the officer deduced that vehicle prowling was a possible motive.
The man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
