Expect SR-16 lane and ramp closures eastbound to Narrows Bridge on Wednesday, Jan. 22
Drivers traveling eastbound on State Route 16 across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge should plan for lane and ramp closures overnight on Wednesday, Jan. 22 as crews conduct toll equipment maintenance, the state Department of Transportation says.
Crews will close the on-ramp from 24th Street NW to eastbound SR 16 at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22. They will begin to close all three of the eastbound Good To Go! electronic toll lanes at 9 p.m. All vehicles will be routed through the manual toll booths during the closure. The ramp and all lanes will re-open by 4 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 23.
