The video footage of the incident was logged into evidence.
Upside-down plate
Jan. 25 – An officer saw a vehicle driving with his license plate flipped upside down. The officer was still able to read that it expired almost three years ago.
Police stopped the driver at 11:52 p.m. as he was traveling southbound on 51st Avenue. The officer recognized the man from a previous domestic violence incident, and recalled that the man’s license was previously suspended.
The driver received a criminal citation along with a verbal warning about the upside-down license plate.
