Pocketing a socket set
May 7 – A customer was told by management that he was not allowed to have his dog in the store. The man complied, but a short time later he returned and was seen taking an item, police said.
Police were dispatched at 4:25 p.m. to the 4800 block of Point Fosdick Drive where the man left the store without paying for a $110 Craftsman socket set. The man was asked to pay for the item, but he did not, leaving the store and driving off.
An employee wrote down the vehicle’s license. Police learned that the man, whose vehicle is registered in Olympia, currently lives in Poulsbo. An investigation is continuing.
