June 13: Bridge accident — Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the Narrows Bridge around 2 a.m. It was reported that a vehicle, traveling at high speed, hit the guardrail and came to rest blocking lanes. Washington State Patrol was on the scene. Crews established a safe work zone, assessed and treated the driver, then transported for further evaluation and medical attention.

June 13: Lock Out — Around the 9400 block of North Harborview Drive, a three-month-old baby and a dog were inside a residence, while the resident was locked outside on a second-story balcony. Firefighters arrived, used a ladder to help the resident off the balcony. The resident then was able to make entry through the front door.

June 15: Tree on power lines — Firefighters were dispatched around noon to the scene of a tree leaning on the power lines at 148th Street and Crescent Valley Drive. Crews blocked off the road and requested utility company response. Puget Sound Energy arrived, cut the tree while firefighters helped to clear the road of debris.
