A swinging Fall day at Homestead Park
Some unexpected sunshine and lovely fall color provided enough incentive for Jacklyn Parrish to take her daughter Della to Homestead Park in Gig Harbor on a blustery Friday the Thirteenth. The two-year-old lobbied heavily for a ride on the swings, “her favorite” playground activity. As it turned out, it was the last nice day for a while, as rain and blustery weather set in for the rest of the week.
