Beauty salon with a long run west of the Narrows closes its doors. Here’s what we know
Visitors will notice a locally owned salon is no longer at Olympic Village in Gig Harbor.
TGF Haircutters closed their doors at the end of May.
They were located at 5500 Olympic Drive.
“TGF had a long run in Gig Harbor and wonderful support from all of you,” the owners posted on Google. “We are sad to announce that we are CLOSING at the end of May. Our last day will be May 25th. Shirley will stay in Gig Harbor and you will hear about her next move soon!”
TGF has an additional location in the Tacoma area that will remain open, it appears.
That location is in the 100 block of Military Road South.
The owners did not respond to the Gateway’s request for comment.
TGF has been delivering cuts for over 25 years in Pierce County, according to the company’s website.
