The 9,812 square foot home at 4014 Horsehead Bay Dr. has six bathrooms and four bedrooms. It was listed Monday morning, June 26, with Jennifer Hawkins & Key2see Team at the Hawkins-Poe listing firm.

The home was custom built in 2008.

The owners tore down a cabin on the property and built the home that’s there today, Jennifer Hawkins, the listing agent told the Gateway Wednesday, June 28.

There is an opportunity to purchase this home furnished, she added.

Hawkins said the family loved to entertain.

“They wanted to create a very family oriented home,” Hawkins said.

There’s also an outdoor shower, a changing room and a steam shower.

The home is considered a no bank waterfront, which means it sits up from the water.

A path leads down to the beach.

“The topography of the land slopes up toward the street, so it’s really protected,” Hawkins said.

The owners had no issues during King Tides. The water at most came up to their bulkhead, Hawkins said.
