SR 16 drivers: Expect delays on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge during upcoming lane closures
Drivers traveling east Thursday evening should expect delays on the Narrows Bridge.
Maintenance crews are scheduled to perform work on the Good To Go! toll equipment, according to a recent Washington State Department of Transportation announcement.
As a result, the three main Good To Go! lanes of state Route 16 will be closed.
Crews will begin work at 8 p.m. Thursday until 4 a.m. Friday near the plaza. Drivers will have to use the manual toll booths.
“Drivers with an active Good To Go! pass in their vehicle who wish to pay with cash or credit card instead of their account at the toll booth will need to tell the toll collector how they want to pay,” the announcement said.
