BECU plans to make its debut in Gig Harbor.

The credit union announced the expansion July 6.

The space will be over 5,000 square feet and located in The Shops at Harbor Hill across the parking lot from Costco, Avery FitzPatrick, public relations manager for BECU told the Gateway.

“This will be the first (BECU) financial center for the Maritime City, serving more than 6,600 local members,” according to the announcement.

An exact address has not been released yet, but FitzPatrick said they will be moving into an existing space.

She said they expect to open in the first half of 2024.
