Dick’s is bringing burgers, milkshakes to Gig Harbor for this boutique’s anniversary
If you like burgers and shopping, an event in Gig Harbor this weekend might be for you.
Rachel Peirce, the owner of the R Storie clothing boutique, invites visitors to celebrate the shop’s first anniversary with her team Saturday, Dec. 2.
They are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. From noon to 2 p.m. customers who shop at R Storie will get a free burger and milkshake from Dick’s Drive-In, R Storie said on Instagram.
The Dick’s Drive-In food truck will be parked outside the store on Saturday at 11430 51st Ave. NW, Suite 101B.
R Storie has about 200 meal tickets to give out to customers who make a purchase at the store Thursday through Saturday.
They will hand out the first 100 meal tickets to the first 50 people who shop on Thursday and Friday. Those customers can return with their meal tickets when the truck is outside the store Saturday.
Then, the other 100 meal tickets will go to those who come celebrate the shop’s anniversary on Saturday and make a purchase. All meal tickets can only be used when the truck is there on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m.
All the food on the truck is provided by R Storie and is not for sale to the general public.
A few other local business are coming to celebrate, too.
Scorpio Rising Vintage from Tacoma will be at the anniversary with vintage clothes for sale. Scorpio Rising Vintage is owned by Pierce’s brother.
If your want a sweet treat, Muffin Cookie Gig Harbor will have complimentary cookies for customers who visit Saturday while supplies last. There is a limit of one cookie per customer.
Golden Flame Jewelry will have permanent jewelry for sale from noon to 4 p.m.
