Here’s where to see holiday lights west of the Narrows. The winner gets a prize

Seventeen houses between the Narrows and the Purdy Bridge are decked out with holiday lights, in hopes to become the very first Let It Glow winner.

New this year, Let It Glow is a Gig Harbor-area holiday lights contest for homeowners west of the Narrows Bridge. Members of the public can visit each home to see what they’ve created, then vote for their favorite.

The event is put on by local real estate companies, including Sounds & Harbor Homes and Infinity Real Estate, and Shameless Promotion, a web design company in Gig Harbor.

Organizers suggest two different routes, according to the event website.

You can start in the Wollochet area, head to Sehmel, then make your way to the Purdy area. You can also start in the Purdy area and end near Wollochet.

If you’d like, you can make your own route for the tour instead. The map of all participating houses can be found on the website.

The addresses are:

  • 4210 10th St. NW
