The mayor’s key
The recent story regarding the infamous key highlights more denials and absolutely no sign of good leadership. At the end of the story Kuhn is quoted saying “ he does not have a key to the police file room, has never been there, and “I don’t even know where that is.” Prompting me to wonder how he can be mayor for two years and not even be familiar with every aspect of the building he works in, especially if he has the key for “emergency purposes”?
More importantly, instead of denials maybe the leadership at City Hall should take some steps to make sure that the case file room, which contains sensitive information and is separate from the evidence and property room, cannot be accessed by anyone not specifically trained and approved to do so.
