Cheers to the wonderful Safeway store we used to have in Gig Harbor. It had a friendly staff and most importantly, great prices and selection. Please, please make a good business decision and bring back our Safeway store!

Cheers to Leigh Hunt’s Letter to the Editor on Sept. 16! You said it all about stopping this hate in this seasons Presidential race. You put into words what I only think.

Jeers to the Gig Harbor City Government for promoting unbridled business and housing growth, but are taking no action on improving the impact on traffic that the growth is bringing upon us.

Cheers to the Church in the Harbor for the bells ringing out the time every day. It reminds me of my youth and how a community should be.

Cheers to all who came out to help celebrate the one year anniversary of the Red Barn Youth Center in Key Center.

Cheers to Eddie, the wonderful Gig Harbor police officer who, with kindness and humor, took such good care of a woman who was having difficulty finding her way home. Thank you.
