Cheers and Jeers, Sept. 30

Jeers to the towing signs up at the grange on Artondale and Wollochet. These signs prevent those of us who wish to park at the grange and walk the sidewalk between Artondale and Follmore from doing so.

Cheers to Gig Harbor voters who take the time to research rumors by going to the source and asking the candidate involved.

Jeers to folks who try to sway an election with false information.

Cheers to Ricky from Rainier View Water Company. What a guy! Drove all the way to my house to deliver my wallet, which had been lost.

Jeers to the bigoted parents discussing the transgender student at Harbor Heights Elementary School. I was sick to my stomach listening to them loudly discussing how concerned they are for children using the same restroom as this student. The worst part is when they said their own children went up to this student and told them their parents did not want them playing with them. And they worry about their kids’ safety? Ironically nauseating.
