Puyallup skate rink ablaze. North Meridian closed in the area
A skating rink on Meridian is on fire, Puyallup police reported Tuesday.
Firefighters are at King Family Fun Center, also know as Tiffany’s Skate Inn, 1113 N. Meridian, putting out a large structure fire.
There are significant traffic impacts, the police department said. All northbound traffic on North Meridian from River Road is closed.
“Please avoid the area and take alternate routes,” a tweet from the police department said.
The fire is one of several in Pierce County on Tuesday, joining brush fires in Sumner and a wildfire in Graham.
