This new Puyallup entertainment center has arcade games, bowling, billiards and pingpong
The South Sound just gained another entertainment center for all ages, and you can find it in Puyallup.
Round1 opened its doors on Saturday, Aug. 13 at the South Hill Mall at 3500 S. Meridian. The facility is next to Macy’s.
Round1 offers several arcade games, bowling lanes, billiards, pingpong, music and more. Visitors don’t pay an entrance fee. Instead, they pay for the games they choose to play.
The 52,000 square foot facility also has a lounge area where patrons can eat and drink. They’ll serve pizza, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, wings, burgers, soft drinks, draft beer, wine and liquor, according to the company’s website.
Plans for private party rooms with karaoke are in the works.
Each Round1 facility has about 1 million visitors per year, according to a news release. About 48 locations currently exist in the country with more on the way. The company originated in Japan in 1980.
The only other Round1 in Washington state to date is at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila.
Round1’s Puyallup location will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
