South Hill residents have a new place they can get laundry done.
WashCo Laundry at 10209 136th St. E. is a 3,000-square-foot laundromat that offers customers two options: self-service and wash and fold. The laundromat has 38 washers and 38 dryers.
It costs $4-$15 to wash a load of clothes – $4 for a small load, $7 for a medium load, $10 for a large load and $15 for an extra large load. It costs 25 cents every 4 minutes to dry a load.
Customers can pay through the Huebsch app on their phones or with cash and coins. There is a change machine onsite.
Owner Ki Noh said he opened the laundromat in May. Two things that make this laundromat different from others are the brand-new equipment and the option to pay through an app, he said.
The building that houses the laundromat used to be a medical clinic, Noh said.
The laundromat is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. There are 25 parking spots available.
