Here’s when Daiso, the popular Japanese dollar store, will open in East Pierce County

A dollar store that specializes in Japanese goods is coming to Sunrise Village in South Hill.

Daiso will open its doors at the new Puyallup-area location Oct. 7 at 10408 156th St. E., Suite 102.

The store will have kitchenware, toys, stationery and beauty products, as well as other household items.

Daiso offers a variety of “great products at affordable prices,” spokesperson Daniela Davis wrote in an email.

Soft and squishy plush toys as well as an assortment of Japanese snacks will be sold at the store, Davis said.

Patrons can expect to spend between $1.75 to about $10 per item.

“We have heard loud and clear the need for us to expand within the Washington region,” Davis said. “We are super excited to be able to service this area.”

Daiso has other locations in Lakewood, Federal Way and Kent.
