You can play pool while waiting for your turn at this new Pierce County barbershop

If you need a beard trim or a different hairstyle, there is a new barbershop in Bonney Lake you can try.

The Social Barber Lounge at 21515 state Route 410 E., Suite D, opened last week. The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments are recommended and walk-ins are welcome.

Those interested in booking an appointment can go to linktr.ee/thesocialbarberlounge.

Barbershop owner Brian Avila said patrons can get skin fades, hot towel shaves and hair designs, among other things. Haircuts for children start at $30. Haircuts for adults start at $35. Haircuts for adults who also need beard services start at $45.

Plans to have an entertainment center in the barbershop are in the works. There is a pool table in the waiting area. A gaming console may come soon, Avila said.

He wanted to open a barbershop in Bonney Lake because there are no shops that offer the services he does, such as detailed skin fades, he said.

When asked what makes his barbershop different from others, he said: “attention to detail.”

Avila, 27, was previously a barber in Auburn for about seven years. He moved to Bonney Lake two years ago.

The barbershop was previously a martial arts studio, he said.
