Star Trek: The Exhibition coming to Washington State Fair
The Washington State Fair in Puyallup will feature Star Trek: The Exhibition throughout the run of the Fair, Sept. 11 to 27.
The Exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy an interactive, museum-style experience of one of the largest collections of authentic Star Trek artifacts and information ever put on public display. The Exhibition brings visitors into the Star Trek universe and allows them to connect with iconic Star Trek moments.
Star Trek fans and novices alike will have a first-hand interactive experience to explore the worlds, wisdom, science, stories, cultures, characters, fashions and fantasies of the Star Trek universe.
Among the main attractions of The Exhibition include the opportunity to sit in the legendary Captain’s chair of the U.S.S. Enterprise, the chance to pose in front of a replica of the U.S.S. Enterprise and a variety of one-of-a-kind displays and interactive kiosks.
“Our Orlando Star Trek: The Exhibition was a great success. We know that there are just as many fans of the show in the Pacific Northwest that would love this experience. This exhibition allows fans and visitors to explore and experience the world of Star Trek beyond the movie and TV screens in alive, hands-on way,” Christoph Rahofer, president of EMS Entertainment, said in a release.
The Exhibition is a separate ticketed exhibit, and requires Fair admission. Exhibit tickets can be purchased in advance for $6.50 until Sept. 10 at www.thefair.com/fun/details/star-trek, or $8 at the State Fair. Children 5 years and younger are free in the exhibit with a paid adult.
Star Trek: The Exhibition is under license by CBS Consumer Products.
