The goal of the event is to introduce people to businesses they may not be familiar with, Morgan Medeiros said. Medeiros is a volunteer event coordinator for the Puyallup Main Street Association (PMSA).
In July 2023, Swift visited Washington state as a part of The Eras Tour. She performed at Lumen Field in Seattle. She drew over 72,000 fans, The Seattle Times reported.
Medeiros said Swift has been a “cultural moment” and that she bridges generations in a way not many musicians can.
