A new branch of America’s Credit Union is now open in the Puyallup Walmart.
The credit union celebrated the grand opening by donating $500 to Helping Hand House, a local nonprofit.
“By opening the additional location in Puyallup, we’re providing the growing number of members who live and work there convenient access to an ACU branch,” Ken Leonard, president and CEO of ACU, said in a release.
The grand opening celebration was July 29 and included a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“The new branch is a one-stop shop so members can shop and bank all in one place,” said Sarah Gordon, branch manager. “We also have two walk-up ATMs for 24-hour access.”
The Puyallup Walmart branch is one of 15 full-service ACU branches located in Pierce and Thurston Counties.
The branch is located inside the Walmart at 16502 Meridian Avenue East. It is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday.
With headquarters in DuPont, ACU has provided financial services for more than 60 years to thousands of military personnel and their families.
