Puyallup: News

New coffee shop in downtown Puyallup has mazapán lattes and other treats

A new coffee shop has launched its soft opening in downtown Puyallup.

According to an Instagram post from the Puyallup Main Street Association, Dulce Cafe opened its doors last week. The cafe is located at 333 S. Meridian, below city hall where Elements, a frozen yogurt and coffee shop, was previously.

The post says the cafe offers sandwiches, salads, coffee and pastries.

“We’re starting with a small menu of our favorite drinks & bites,” part of the PMSA post said. “More coming soon as we grow with you!”

Dulce Cafe is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

A horchata latte and mazapán latte are some of the treats on the menu, the post said.

The News Tribune tried to reach the owner, Yonilda Morales, who said it’s been a busy time and that she wouldn’t be available to speak about the shop until later this month.
