Puyallup: News

Puyallup is getting a new discount clothing store. Here’s what to know

Puyallup is getting a new discount clothing store this fall.

Burlington will be opening at the former Big Lots site at 120 31st Ave., the company announced in a news release.

In the release, the company said the new store will be opening in the fall, but did not give a specific date. Lindsay Erickson, a spokesperson for Burlington’s public relations agency, told The News Tribune that the store will open in mid-September.

This store will be the 19th location in Washington. According to the release, the store will offer:

  • Ladies’ apparel and accessories
  • Menswear, “inclusive of a wide assortment of Big and Tall.”
  • Junior, child and baby clothes
  • Beauty and fragrance items
  • Home decor
  • Pet care and toys

The release also said the store is part of a wave of stores that will have a reimagined layout.

“All new Burlington stores now open in the refreshed format, featuring thoughtfully organized aisles and bold signage making it easier than ever to navigate the store and get inspiration for the latest must-have trends,” the release said. “While approximately half of the brand’s existing locations have already been converted, the remaining stores are expected to transition to the new format by the end of 2026.”
