Sounds at Sunset series debuts Friday at Meridian Habitiat Park
Sounds of live music will fill the air at Meridian Habitat Park in Puyallup every Friday in July from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The free summer concerts will feature a variety of local and regional musical styles that appeal to music lovers of all ages and tastes.
Concertgoers can bring their lawn chairs, blankets and friends for an evening of music and relaxation. They can also pack a picnic or enjoy the concessions of Hometown Dogs food truck and Taszty’s kettle corn and shaved ice during the show.
The 2016 concert schedule includes:
▪ Friday, July 15 – The Coats (A Capella)
▪ Friday, July 22 – The Not-It’s (Kindie Rock)
▪ Friday, July 29 – The Olson Brothers Band (Country Rock)

Sumner’s Music Off Main series
All concerts on Fridays in July start at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Park in downtown Sumner.
The remaining acts for 2016 include:
▪ July 15 – The Great Pretenders
Concertgoers can enjoy the tunes of vintage rock ‘n’ roll, surf, disco and more as The Great Pretenders play the best of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s music.
▪ July 22 – Folsom Prism
A modern look and tribute to everyone’s favorite Man in Black, Johnny Cash.
▪ July 29 – Colt & The Peacemakers
Join Sumner’s own songwriter and musician Andy Shofner with Colt & the Peacemakers, “a modern throwback to Good, Ole’ Outlaw Country”!
Heritage Park is located in downtown Sumner where Cherry and Kincaid meet Main Street.
