Semi hits railroad trestle near Lakewood Sounder Station
Crews closed Pacific Highway near the Lakewood Sound Transit Station Monday after a semitrailer hit a railroad trestle that spanned the road.
About 1:30 p.m. Lakewood police spokesman Chris Lawler reported the wreck near the intersection of Pacific Highway Southwest and 47th Avenue Southwest.
An engineer checked out the trestle, was found it was safe, and the road reopened about 3 p.m.
