Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Christoffer Taylor

Age: 50.

Description: 6 feet and 180 pounds, bald with blue eyes.

Where registered to live: 2500 block of Fawcett Avenue, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2006 of first-degree child molestation in Thurston County for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Theodore Burnett

Age: 57.

Description: 6 feet 2 and 200 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes.

Where registered to live: 2100 block of South L Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1993 of first-degree sex abuse and first-degree sodomy in Linn County, Oregon, for sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl and threatening to kill her if she told anyone. Convicted in 1994 of first-degree sex abuse for sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl. Convicted in 1978 of third-degree rape for fathering a child with a 12-year-old girl.

Sex offender treatment: Unclear whether he participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.
