The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.
Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.
All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.
Mark M. McCloud
Age: 49.
Description: 6 feet and 300 pounds, black hair with brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 8000 block of South Thompson Avenue, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 1993 of first-degree rape in Pierce County for breaking into a woman’s apartment and sexually assaulting her.
Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Ronald Montgomery
Age: 45.
Description: 5 feet 4 and 132 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 5000 block of South Sheridan Avenue, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 1992 on two counts of first-degree rape in King County for sexually assaulting a woman along with three other people.
Sex offender treatment: Unknown whether he participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Darrell Kent
Age: 64.
Description: 5 feet 11 and 230 pounds, gray hair with blue eyes.
Where registered to live: 2300 block of Fawcett Avenue, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2005 of second-degree child molestation and in 1995 of second-degree child rape for sexually assaulting girls ranging in age from 3 to 15. Convicted in 1976 of third-degree criminal sexual penetration for assaulting a woman.
Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while at the state’s Special Commitment Center.
