Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Darold J. Hassler

Age: 39.

Description: 5 feet 8 and 160 pounds, brown hair with blue eyes.

Where registered to live: 2200 block of East 72nd Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1999 on two counts of first-degree child rape in Pierce County for sexually assaulting two 8-year-old girls.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Terrill Morris

Age: 51.

Description: 5 feet 11 and 200 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 700 block of South 17th Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1988 of indecent liberties and first-degree statutory rape in Kitsap County for sexually assaulting three young boys.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while at the Special Commitment Center.

Charles White

Age: 65.

Description: 5 feet 7 and 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Where registered to live: 2500 block of Martin Luther King Way, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1987 of second-degree statutory rape in Pierce County for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy. Convicted in 1989 of first-degree child molestation and attempted second-degree sodomy for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl he babysat. Convicted of failing to register as a sex offender.

Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Eric M. Patrick

Age: 40.

Description: 5 feet 4 and 140 pounds, black hair with brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 1400 block of South 23rd Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2002 of residential burglary with sexual motivation in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.

Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.
