They dropped off a man with 2 gunshot wounds at a clinic. Now detectives want to talk
A man shot twice on Friday afternoon was delivered to a Port Orchard urgent care facility by a man and woman who Kitsap County Sheriff’s deputies want help identifying.
A statement released Friday night by the Sheriff’s office calls the man and woman good Samaritans who “are considered witnesses in this investigation.” The man and woman reportedly stopped to assist the wounded man and drive him to the South Kitsap Harrison Urgent Care Clinic in Port Orchard. They were driving a white Toyota Prius.
The 28-year-old South Kitsap man delivered to the clinic was reportedly shot between 1:30 and 2 p.m. on the 3900 block of S.E. Salmonberry Road. He was transported from the clinic to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. The man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Deputies and detectives are investigating and responded to several locations Friday. Those with information about the man, woman or the Prius are asked to call 360-308-5400.
