15-year-old boy killed in Tacoma shooting

A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday morning on the 5100 block of South Oakes Street in Tacoma, Tacoma Police announced.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at about 1:15 a.m. and found the injured boy when they arrived, according to a statement issued by the department. Officers administered CPR but were unable to resuscitate the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident and stated there is no suspect information at this time.
