2 men were killed in Tacoma. 5 people, including 3 teens, have been arrested
Police are investigating the shooting deaths of two men in Tacoma Tuesday night.
Officers were called about 8 p.m. to the 4400 block of Portland Avenue by several people who heard gunshots.
They found a 23-year-old man lying in the street being helped by several passersby.
Paramedics performed CPR, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly afterward, another man was dropped off at Allenmore Hospital with critical injuries. He died during surgery.
Neither victim has been identified. Both men were in their early 20s, police said.
Investigators have not released information about the shooting or the circumstances that led up to it.
A 21-year-old man, two boys ages 16 and 17, and two sisters ages 17 and 18 were arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder after officers pulled over their vehicle.
