Pedestrian fatally struck by car in Milton has been identified
A 56-year-old woman fatally struck by a car as she crossed Pacific Highway East in Milton has been identified as Rebecca Fujii.
The accident took place just before 5 p.m. Friday in the 7900 block of Pacific Highway East.
Fujii was not believed to be in a crosswalk when she was hit in the northbound lanes.
The closest crosswalk to the scene is at Porter Way.
The driver remained on scene and showed no signs of impairment, police said.
