A Tacoma bank was robbed and police are hoping you recognize this man

Tacoma police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed a bank Monday.

The holdup occurred just before 2 p.m. at a Columbia Bank branch in the 1900 block of South Union Avenue.

The man handed a teller a note demanding cash, took the money and ran out the door. He was spotted heading north toward the Allenmore Hospital area.

Police said the robber did not appear to be armed.

Hr is described as a light-skinned black man, about 160 pounds with a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing blue carpenter-style jeans, a black Under Armour jacket and a black beanie cap.
