Man stabbed to death outside Federal Way motel room

An attack at a Federal Way motel late Thursday ended with a man dying of apparent stab wounds, police said.

Officers were called about 10 p.m. to a motel in the 34800 block of Pacific Highway South and found the victim bleeding outside a room.

Although police and paramedics performed CPR and other life-saving measures, the man died at the scene.

He has not been identified.

Police said they are investigating the homicide and what led up to the attack.

No details were immediately available.
