Man fatally shot outside Tacoma business
A man was fatally shot outside a Tacoma business Saturday, police said.
Officers were called about 11:45 a.m. to the 5200 block of Tacoma Mall Boulevard and found a 48-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
The victim has not been identified.
“The incident appears to have started as a dispute between two males that escalated,” police spokeswoman Wendy Haddow said.
The suspect fled in a vehicle and has not been arrested.
His getaway vehicle was found later and was searched by detectives.
The investigation is ongoing.
