Bleeding man dies after knocking on Tacoma door for help. Police investigating

He was bleeding profusely when he knocked on a Tacoma door Wednesday night and pleaded for help.

The homeowner in the 5500 block of North 9th Street called 911 about 10:10 p.m. to report an injured person.

Police arrived moments later and found a 21-year-old man on the front porch.

Officers started CPR until paramedics arrived, then the man was taken to an area hospital.

He died of his injuries.

Detectives have not said how the man died, nor have they identified him.

The homicide investigation is ongoing.
