Woman killed in crash with Pierce County deputy has been identified
A woman killed in a collision with a Pierce County sheriff’s deputy has been identified.
Maria Teresa Magana Bedolla, 31, was traveling west on 112th Street just before 1 p.m. April 10 when she apparently made a left turn in front of a deputy responding to a shooting scene.
The deputy was also traveling west with his lights and siren on when the collision took place near B Street.
Magana Bedolla was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers in her Honda were taken to area hospitals with minor to serious injuries.
The deputy was not injured.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
