Estranged husband fatally shot wife’s boyfriend and himself at Pierce County home, deputies say
A Pierce County man fatally shot his estranged wife’s boyfriend before killing himself inside a Waller-area home, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were called about 1 a.m. to a house in the 7500 block of Vickery Avenue East and found two dead men.
A 35-year-old woman reported that she’d been staying the night at her 44-year-old boyfriend’s house when her estranged husband showed up.
The husband and wife had agreed he would move all of his belongings out of their home by Saturday.
Instead, the estranged husband drove to the boyfriend’s house and shot him multiple times before shooting himself in the head, sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither has been identified.
A semi-automatic pistol was allegedly found on the ground next to the husband.
