A man was shot to death outside a Federal Way park Tuesday night, police said.

Officers were called just after 9 p.m. to a Westway neighborhood in the 2400 block of SW 334th Street after people reported a shooting.

A man in his 20s was found with an apparent gunshot wound.

Paramedics performed CPR but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has not been identified.

Detectives believe the shots were fired from a vehicle passing by the park.

The motive remains unknown.

Shortly after the homicide, a man sought treatment of a gunshot wound to the hand at St. Francis Hospital.

Police said they are unsure if the two shootings are related.
