Man fatally shot in Tacoma apartment has been identified

A man found shot to death in a Tacoma apartment Friday has been identified.

Police were called about 1:15 a.m. to the 5100 block of South 58th Street and found Nelvin Tucker suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Tucker, 51, was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

No details about what led up to the shooting have been released.

No arrests have been made in the homicide.
