The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.
Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

Peter Apple
Age: 40.
Description: 5-feet-7 and 147 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2011 of two counts of first-degree child molestation in Thurston County for repeatedly sexually assaulting three girls.
Sex offender treatment: He participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Tommy Howard
Age: 37.
Description: 5-feet-7 and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 8600 block of McKinley Avenue, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 1994 of first-degree child molestation in King County for sexually assaulting several children between the ages of 2 and 9.
Sex offender treatment: He did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Christoffer Taylor
Age: 53.
Description: 5-feet-11 and 150 pounds, bald and blue eyes.
Where registered to live: 9100 block of East B Street, Tacoma
Criminal history: Convicted in 2006 of first-degree child molestation in Thurston County for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl.
Sex offender treatment: He participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Daniel L. Ferguson
Age: 37.
Description: 5-feet-11 and 235 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: Transient, Pierce County.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2019 of felony indecent exposure with sexual motivation in Pierce County for exposing himself to a woman on a bus. Convicted in 2018 of indecent exposure in Pierce County for exposing himself to several people and also of indecent exposure and cyberstalking for sending a former client photographs of his genitalia. Convicted in 2018 on four counts of cyberstalking for sending vulgar emails and pictures to a former student. Convicted in 2017 of cyberstalking in Pierce County for sending sexual pictures to a female acquaintance.
Sex offender treatment: It is unknown if he participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.
