State Supreme Court hears oral arguments about $30 car tabs initiative. Where to watch

The Washington State Supreme Court is expected to hear oral arguments today regarding the constitutionality of Initiative 976, which would reduce the cost of car tabs.

Voters passed the initiative in November. It would limit car tabs to $30 ($43.25 with fees).

King County, Seattle and other jurisdictions challenged the measure with a lawsuit.

The initiative hasn’t taken effect, due to the legal challenge.

Oral arguments start at 1:30 p.m. You can watch it at TVW.
