Man fatally shot near park on Tacoma’s Ruston Way
Tacoma police investigated a fatal shooting early Saturday.
Officers were called just before 2 a.m. to the 3900 block of Ruston Way for a report of gunshots.
When they arrived, they spotted several vehicles leaving the area near Cummings Park.
A man, who has not been identified, was found with gunshot wounds.
Although police and paramedics performed CPR, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one has been arrested.
