Man shot to death on Tacoma’s waterfront has been identified

A man shot to death on Tacoma’s waterfront last weekend has been identified.

Officers were called just before 2 a.m. to the 3900 block of Ruston Way and spotted several vehicles fleeing the area.

Benito Juarez, 23, was found suffering from gunshot wounds near Cummings Park.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not arrested anyone or released details about what led up to the fatal shooting.
