Woman killed in rollover crash on Waller Road has been identified
Authorities have identified a woman killed Tuesday night in a crash on Waller Road East.
Lisa Sanford, 44, was the passenger in a 2000 Volkswagen Passat that failed to negotiate a curve in the 4200 block of
Waller Road, struck a pile of rocks and overturned.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pierce County sheriff’s investigators say the driver, a 55-year-old man, was likely impaired.
He was taken to Tacoma General Hospital in serious condition and has not yet been arrested.
The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
