Tacoma man fatally shot in robbery late Friday night

A 39-year-old Tacoma male was fatally shot late Friday night during a robbery in the 6600 block of South Alaska St., according to the Tacoma Police Department. South Sound 911 received reports of the robbery just after 11:30 p.m.

Officers arrived on the scene and initiated life saving measures. The victim was declared deceased on scene by the Tacoma Fire Department.

The suspects are described as three black males, all armed, wearing masks who fled in an undescribed vehicle.

It is being investigated as a homicide, per TPD.
