Motorcyclist killed after crashing into van in Spanaway has been identified
A motorcyclist who died Friday after crashing into the side of a van in Spanaway has been identified.
Aldo Ruiz, 27, of Yakima, was traveling north on state Route 7 when he tried to make a left turn into a parking lot.
Ruiz struck a southbound van at 8th Avenue East, according to the Washington State Patrol.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van was not injured.
