Woman killed on SR 512 by hit-and-run drivers is identified
A woman killed last week after being struck by hit-and-run drivers on state Route 512 has been identified.
April-Dawn Sodden, 39, of Tacoma, was running eastbound in the westbound lanes when she was hit about 11 p.m. Friday just west of Steele Street, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Both drivers that struck her fled the scene.
A Subaru believed to have hit Sodden was found Saturday, and troopers are still looking for a silver Mercedes.
It is unknown what Sodden was doing on the highway.
